Returns Policy

1. Introduction

Hebridean Charcuterie from Croft No.9 policy is to always believe the customer is correct and we will make good any reasonable complaint.

1.1 If any purchase does not meet your complete satisfaction in standards both in presentation and product you are welcome to request a refund and we will investigate as soon as is practical. We will need a batch number, where and how you purchased it and a brief explanation of why it does not meet your satisfaction.

1.2 For purchases through a retailer we will offer either a replacement product or a refund, but you will need to return the product to us within the use by date. In our refund we will pay for your postage costs. We will need your bank details in order to make a balance transfer as we do not issue cheques.

1.3 For purchases direct from us via our website we will not require return of product as we know the condition in which it was sent to you. Nonetheless we will need a brief explanation as to why it does not meet your satisfaction. Please do this within two weeks of purchase and we will make good within two weeks of your complaint. This feedback helps us to ensure we evaluate, learn and get better with everything we do.

Delivery Policy

2. Introduction

All our products can be stored at ambient temperature and are suitable for postage without refrigeration.

Hebridean Charcuterie from Croft No.9 will charge for delivery. These charges will be based on the numbers of products purchased and their subsequent weight and size. The basic charging policy will be shown on our e-commerce page of our website and you will be made aware of the total price before purchase once quantity of order is established.

2.1 2.1 We use Royal Mail to deliver our products, as they have clear greenhouse gas emission declarations and are taking steps to reduce emissions year on year.

2.2 We will aim to process retail orders each day by 5pm for posting the next day. Delivery of wholesale orders will be agreed with stockists.

2.3 Please understand that the beauty of our islands and quality of meats and products comes because of nature and our environment. Because we are based in the Outer Hebrides and are at the mercy of the weather, occasionally postage does not leave the islands, i.e. inability of the transport to take off or sail. This can delay postage beyond our control. So do bear with us, your product will get to you as soon as possible.
