We were inspired to make a venison prosciutto because of the red deer which have roamed freely over the landscapes of the Outer Hebrides for thousands of years.

The prosciutto has a rich, distinctive, slightly-sweet flavour which can be enjoyed as part of a charcuterie platter, or as an ingredient in another dish. We like to use it to crown a cream cheese bagel – breakfast of Kings! 

We think this tasty morsel is a mouth watering addition to the perfect night in with nibbles or great as a gift for foodie friends.
